Well, I don't really know if this is punk rock, garage rock or just rock 'n' roll. The only thing I'm sure about is that this album is really amazing! To be honest, I didn't know that the band existed before last October. I came across to this L.A. based band and "The Winter of Discontent" album by accident! And I felt really grounded! Think this is one of the best staight rock 'n' roll albums ever, loud and clear and full of energy. The whole idea of it is about getting away. Driving rythm section, catchy as hell guitar riffs and vocal melodies. All guys are with no doubt great musicians. I don't know if it's the production or if this guy pounds his drums as if it is his last day on earth, but thank god, we get an album where you can really get the drums right into your stomach. Don't blame me, but from my point of view I can recognize serious classic metal elements in this album, especially on the astonishing guitar solos. This album is angry and moody and travelling, the perfect soundtrack to your escape, whether you drive away from the city on a sunny Sunday or you just walk on the road with your headphones on. I'm very proud that I had the chance to get a vinyl copy of the album, we should all get copies of the albums we really like. The band is about to release a brand new album within 2007, so stay tuned. They have also scheduled some gigs in the US this summer, and they'll visit Germany in fall. Come to Greece guys!!!
